The Lamb of God

"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God"

John1:29

John could proclaim the Lord Jesus as the Lamb of God because of His coming unto us.

What a stoop!

"And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!"

John 1:36

John could proclaim the the Lord Jesus as the Lamb of God because of His perfect walk here bellow.

What Sinlessness!

John did not live to see the cross; but if he was there, if he had gazed on the Lord Jesus hanging upon the tree and bearing away the sin of the world... surely he would of proclaimed, likely louder than ever before,

"Behold the Lamb of God"

What a Saviour!
